Job Summary
Greet clients and their pets, complete the appointment sign-in process, confirm details, and escort clients to exam rooms. Handle payments, process credit/debit cards, and schedule future appointments while ensuring accurate service and product sales accounting. Answer calls regarding appointments, hospital inquiries, medication refills, and other requests, including making outbound calls for appointment reminders and follow-ups. Understand common vaccination protocols, basic lab tests, common diseases, veterinary terminology, and pet behavior. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization to ensure a positive client experience. This full-time role at Festival Veterinary Clinic in Harford County, Maryland, includes rotating hours from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday and Saturdays until 1:00 pm.
