Job Summary
Greet clients, answer phones, screen service needs, and schedule appointments while processing incoming and outgoing patients and payments. Manage front-desk operations by handling mail, maintaining a clean waiting area, and accurately documenting client information in hospital software. Escalate complex matters to senior team members and multitask effectively in a busy environment. Collaborate with veterinarians and technicians to support the hospital's philosophy through professional interactions during overnight shifts from 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent English speaking and reading skills required.
- Regular attendance and punctuality are essential
- Full-Time
- Overnight hours between 6:00 PM–8:00 AM
- Alternating weekends
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- 1–2 years of client service experience in a veterinary, medical, or clinical setting preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable answering phones, assisting clients, processing payments, and managing multiple priorities
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently during overnight hours
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to remain professional and compassionate when working with clients during stressful or emotional situations
- Ability to work effectively as part of a veterinary hospital team
