Job Summary
Answer phone calls, take accurate messages, and book appointments for clients. Maintain charts and computer records while managing pharmacy and retail sales. Handle financial responsibilities and implement marketing initiatives. Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties. Work in a team-oriented environment requiring excellent communication and decision-making skills. This role involves a minimum 8-hour day with no nights or weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in the public (ie: restaurant, retail or service business)
- Experience in a veterinary hospital or doctor's office
- Dependable attendance
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Ability to walk, bend, squat, stand or reach constantly during a minimum 8-hour day
- Excellent client service skills
- Excellent phone skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team oriented environment
- Organized and detail oriented, ability to take direction, ability to handle money accurately and honestly
- Possess sound decision making skills and multi-task while working in a stressful environment
