Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day hospital operations with a primary focus on growth initiatives, including maintaining team focus on client retention activities like health reminders, forward booking, and online reputation management. Collaborate with the Marketing Lead to drive successful campaigns while ensuring the practice delivers a premium, white-glove client experience. Manage personnel responsibilities such as hiring, training, performance management, and conflict resolution alongside inventory and administrative duties. Guide the team toward continuous improvement while demonstrating initiative in balancing business needs with staff well-being. This full-time, salaried role (approx. 40-50 hours/week) includes occasional after-hours meetings and Saturdays, with flexibility in schedule creation.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of management experience in a veterinary hospital, animal hospital, or medical practice setting preferred
- Must have strong capabilities in: balancing needs of business and staff, organization and prioritization, data management & interpretation, problem-solving, computer systems (our practice management system), and the ability to both formulate plans and drive results on your own and in conjunction with the leadership team
