Job Summary
Be the inaugural Practice Manager at a small, community-focused veterinary clinic. Lead the establishment of operational systems, workflows, and accountability; manage day-to-day hospital operations including staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management; partner with ownership on budgeting, growth strategy, and service development; foster a cohesive, high-performing team culture; monitor KPIs and drive improvements; ensure an exceptional client experience; contribute hands-on support to front desk and patient workflow as needed; bring 5+ years veterinary experience with management, plus veterinary-tech licensure or the ability to obtain licensure in-state, strong leadership, and financial literacy to build and guide a growing practice.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of veterinary experience with at least 3 years of management experience
- Ideal candidate is a licensed veterinary technician with ability to become licensed in the state
- Demonstrated success leading and developing teams
- Strong working knowledge of veterinary hospital operations, scheduling, and performance management
- Functional operational skills with the ability to actively support front desk or patient workflow needs in a small-team environment
- Financial literacy, including basic budgeting and KPI monitoring
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- A collaborative leadership style with a commitment to accountability and culture
