Job Summary
Lead and empower emergency veterinary care teams as Nursing Supervisor, coaching credentialed veterinary technicians and assistants to deliver high-quality patient care. Drive hospital flow and performance with leadership collaboration, mentor staff, manage nursing schedules and coverage, lead team huddles, address customer concerns in real time, and uphold a patient- and family-centered culture in a fast-paced ER environment. Requires 2+ years in clinical veterinary nursing/tech roles, leadership development focus, ability to work nights/weekends/holidays, physical stamina for long hours and lifting, and a collaborative, empathetic approach to team development.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a clinical veterinary nursing or technician role
- focus on developing leadership skills
- availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis
- ability to stand for prolonged hours and lift up to 25 kg (40 kg with assistance)
