Job Summary
Overnight Shift Supervisor responsible for real-time leadership and coaching of the nursing team during overnight hours at a veterinary emergency and specialty hospital. Partners with DVMs and hospital leadership to support patient care and operational efficiency, coordinates workflow, prioritizes tasks, and removes barriers to care delivery. Leads shift huddles, communicates priorities, and fosters a positive, inclusive, collaborative culture. Supports training initiatives and ongoing team development, monitors staffing needs, and escalates concerns appropriately. Requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; thrives in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment; certification as a veterinary technician/nurse is preferred. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a veterinary emergency or specialty hospital; flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
