Job Summary
Veterinary Intern at Texas A&M University’s Large Animal Clinical Sciences department. Under general supervision, interns rotate through multiple veterinary specialty/service areas for an internship lasting one year, typically with 2–4 week rotations. Responsibilities include examining, diagnosing, treating, and managing patient cases; interacting with animal owners; teaching veterinary students; and contributing to clinical service operations that support training the next generation of veterinarians. The role emphasizes clinical rotations, case management under supervision, client communication, rounds, and an academic project with a high level of clinical exposure. Requires Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) or equivalent, state veterinary licensure for Texas, NAVLE and Texas Board exams, and strong interpersonal and multitasking abilities. Required Qualifications
