Job Summary
The Concierge-receptionist role at a Vetco Total Care hospital within Petco centers focuses on delivering outstanding customer care to clients and patients. Responsibilities include answering the practice phone, scheduling and reviewing appointments, greeting visitors, monitoring wait times, assisting with training of new staff, maintaining a clean waiting area, confirming appointments via client’s preferred method, and providing backup support to technical staff. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma is a requirement
- At least 1 year's previous experience working in veterinary practice or a customer-facing role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be compassionate and sympathetic and maintain a professional attitude and demeanor
- Must have exceptional telephone and computer skills
- Must be a team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments, offer creative ideas, and accept change
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience using a Practice Management System (preferred)
