Job Summary
Oversee and coordinate daily operational workflow across departments including client experience, patient care and support services; serve as the primary operational point of contact when the Hospital Director is unavailable; monitor staffing levels and scheduling to ensure coverage; identify and resolve bottlenecks; maintain compliance documentation; support recruitment and onboarding; coach direct reports and drive professional growth; partner with managers to address performance and team dynamics; champion client service standards and drive improvements in client satisfaction; assist with budget monitoring, expense tracking, and regulatory compliance; coordinate facilities and vendor activities; contribute operational insights during monthly financial reviews in a fast-paced 24/7 specialty and emergency veterinary setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional management experience.
- Minimum three years of management experience in a veterinary, human healthcare or high-volume service environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-department operations and lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills with experience managing schedules, workflows and operational systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
