Job Summary
Lead veterinary hospital operations and finances as Veterinary Hospital Manager; oversee budgeting, payroll, regulatory compliance (OSHA, DEA, VMB); drive service growth, oversee scheduling, equipment and inventory; develop and execute strategic goals; manage client experience, marketing, and community engagement; supervise department leads and staff development; promote positive workplace culture; requires strong communication, collaborative leadership, resilience handling emotionally charged situations; needs budget management proficiency; autonomous, proactive problem-solving; veterinary industry experience preferred; CVPM or equivalent education preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of business management experience preferred
- Veterinary experience is highly preferred
- CVPM or equivalent education preferred
- Exceptional communication skills with a collaborative and servant leadership approach
- Proficiency in budget management
- Experience with team training and supervision
- Strong computer literacy and adaptability to new systems
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Capacity to work autonomously with minimal direct supervision
