Job Summary
Full-time Kennel Attendant at Animal Emergency & Referral Center of Minnesota (AERC-MN); overnight shifts (8pm-6am), 3-4 days/week with weekends and holidays; primarily at Oakdale Specialty hospital; non-animal handling role focusing on cleaning, disease control, kennel prep, laundry, and stocking; supports ER/ICU floors; includes training (minimum 16 shifts) and benefits (medical/dental, disability, life insurance, telemedicine, EAP, PTO); shift differential eligible.
Required Qualifications
- Overnight shift availability (8pm-6am)
- Weekend availability (up to 50% per month)
- Holiday availability (up to four per year)
- Non-animal handling role; ability to work near ER/ICU floors
- Ability to clean, stock, launder, and perform facility maintenance
- Ability to enter data into the electronic medical record platform
- Team-oriented, proactive, and good communication
