Job Summary
New or recent veterinary graduates enroll in MedVet’s Emergency Clinician Mentorship Program (ECMP), a paid, immersive, one-on-one training path designed to launch an emergency veterinary career. The program blends mentored ER experience with specialty rotations across Critical Care, Radiology, Internal Medicine, and Surgery, supported by didactics and access to medical journals. Trainees receive focused training phases (Direct, Indirect, Independent) with 1:1 mentorship from volunteer ER doctors, and exposure to POCUS. After completing ECMP, participants transition into a full Emergency Clinician role within MedVet’s multi-specialty network. Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school
- Licensed (or license-eligible) to practice veterinary medicine in the state of your assigned hospital
- Two letters of recommendation from clinical faculty familiar with your skills and professionalism
- Interest in emergency medicine and continuous learning
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
