Job Summary
Lead the veterinary team at Greencross Craigieburn by demonstrating strong leadership, fostering a positive culture, and managing a varied caseload including dermatology. Provide excellent surgical skills and clinical knowledge while mentoring graduate vets and guiding a passionate group of four veterinarians and seven nurses. Deliver tailored healthcare to the diverse pet community in a collaborative, supportive environment. This role requires a minimum of five years post-graduate experience and the ability to work sole charge when required. Located in Craigieburn, 25 km north of Melbourne, the position offers visa sponsorship for international candidates and includes four weeks of annual leave.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience
- Proven ability to work sole charge when required
- Flexible, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Passionate about clinical excellence and positive client outcomes
- Veterinary Science qualifications from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards' Council (AVBC)
- Completed NAVLE, AVE or alike examinations
