Job Summary
Veterinary Client Service Representative providing frontline client interactions in a veterinary hospital setting. You will greet and check-in clients, answer calls, escort clients and their pets to exam rooms, manage medical records and correspondence, discuss and process payments, and maintain a professional, compassionate lobby. The role requires practical knowledge of hospital operations, veterinary terminology, accurate data entry, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members in a fast-paced environment. Strong computer skills (Word/Excel), attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to delivering excellent client service are essential. This position supports MedVet’s patient care and client experience, with opportunities for growth and involvement in ongoing education and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in veterinary setting (preferred)
- Practical knowledge of hospital organization and services
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology
- Experience with medical records management
- Experience handling financial policies/transactions
- General computer competency including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong client service and phone etiquette
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously
- Attention to detail and sense of urgency
