Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA)

Support patient care throughout the day by assisting with animal handling, restraint, and monitoring, including walking, toileting, and feeding pets. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection control while preparing consulting rooms and managing stock and equipment. Deliver exceptional client care by supporting reception duties and ensuring a warm, welcoming experience. Collaborate closely with the clinical team to ensure every patient receives the best possible care while complying with all regulatory and operational standards. This role involves an 8-hour shift in the 24-hour hospital in Wokingham every fourth weekend and participation in the on-call rota.
