Job Summary
Assist veterinarians and vet techs during examinations, treatments, and surgeries by handling and restraining animals safely. Prepare examination rooms and surgical areas through cleaning and sterilizing equipment, while performing basic laboratory tests like collecting blood, urine, and stool samples. Administer medications and vaccinations under supervision, and feed, bathe, and exercise animals as needed. Maintain accurate medical records and communicate with pet owners regarding care plans. Clean and maintain the clinic, including stocking supplies and ensuring a safe environment. This full-time role at Skeet Club Veterinary Hospital includes rotating Saturdays and offers a comprehensive benefits package with medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working with animals in a veterinary setting
