Job Summary
Assist veterinarians and vet techs during examinations, treatments, and surgeries while handling and restraining animals safely. Prepare examination rooms and surgical areas by cleaning and sterilizing equipment, administer medications and vaccinations under supervision, and perform basic laboratory tests including collecting blood, urine, and stool samples. Feed, bathe, and exercise animals as needed, maintain accurate medical records, and communicate with pet owners regarding care plans. Clean and maintain the clinic by stocking supplies and ensuring a safe, sanitary environment. Requires at least one year of veterinary experience and technical know-how in disinfection and diagnostic equipment. Full-time role with medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits, paid time off, and a 401(k) match. Schedule includes seven days a week, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with rotating weekends and some holiday coverage.
