Job Summary
Provide overnight monitoring and management of ICU and critical care patients, performing advanced technical procedures including IV catheter placement, blood collection, radiographs, and anesthesia induction. Assist with emergency stabilization, triage, urgent interventions, and Internal Medicine diagnostics such as ultrasound and endoscopy while administering medications via multiple routes. Deliver detailed post-procedure monitoring and provide overnight patient updates to pet owners with clarity and compassion. Work closely with ER doctors, ICU teams, and specialists to participate in case rounds and ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure workspaces remain clean and stocked. This role offers competitive pay ranging from $21 to $26/hr plus overnight differential, paid time off, and continuing education support within a specialty hospital environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of veterinary hospital experience
- Advanced technical skills in anesthesia, emergency procedures, and patient monitoring
- Comfortable working independently on overnight shifts
- Strong communication skills
- A calm, confident presence in high-pressure situations
- Physically able to lift, restrain, and stand for extended periods

Desired Qualifications
- Emergency, ICU, or Specialty experience
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, CVT)
- Familiarity with critical care protocols

- Support for pursuing VTS or advanced certifications
