Job Summary

Assist with patient restraint, triage support, exam room assistance, and patient preparation across Emergency, Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Radiology departments. Provide basic nursing care and general support to technicians and doctors while rotating between high-acuity clinical settings. Maintain patient safety and efficiency by adapting quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone seeking broad clinical experience in a specialty hospital setting.

Required Qualifications

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently
  • Ability to work across multiple departments and adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Ability to follow direction and work independently when needed
  • Strong patient restraint and handling skills across various temperaments
  • Ability to assist in emergency triage support and patient preparation
  • Comfortable rotating between departments (ER, IM, Surgery, Radiology)
  • Excellent multitasking and prioritization under pressure
  • Professionalism in fast-moving, high-stakes environments
  • Commitment to patient safety and quality care
  • 1 weekend day required
  • Day shift
  • Possibility of swings

Desired Qualifications

  • Veterinary hospital experience preferred (ER or specialty experience a plus)
  • Experience handling patients in stressful or high-acuity situations is a plus
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic understanding of clinical workflow in a veterinary hospital
  • Additional fluency in other languages is preferred but not required
  • Experience in a veterinary hospital is preferred, especially in emergency or specialty settings
  • Willingness to learn advanced skills in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to shift priorities quickly while maintaining patient safety and efficiency
