Job Summary
The Rehab Veterinary Assistant supports the veterinary rehab team in daily hospital operations, focusing on animal husbandry care and assisting with patient treatments such as laser therapy and underwater treadmill work. Responsibilities include patient restraint, monitoring for signs of pain or fatigue, setup and assistance with equipment (TENS, ESWT, Stance Analyzer), aiding in treatment plans, handling medical supplies, cleaning and maintaining a safe workspace, and supporting the rehab team to ensure smooth patient flow. Prior veterinary experience is preferred but not required; strong communication, organization, and the ability to respond quickly in urgent situations are essential. The role is full-time with standard Monday–Friday scheduling and relocation assistance available where applicable.
Required Qualifications
