Job Summary
Assist the veterinarian by performing health checks, supporting surgery, and administering vaccinations and medications under supervision. Responsibilities include collecting samples (blood, urine, stool), entering medical information, preparing animals for procedures, maintaining cleanliness of medication and equipment, providing excellent client service, and supporting volunteers in the clinic and kennel environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- One or more years’ experience in veterinary assistant/technician role preferred
- Certification in euthanasia may be required
- Valid Georgia Drivers license may be required
- Registered Veterinary Technician a plus
