Job Summary
Veterinary Assistant needed to support patient care, client service, and hospital operations in brand-new, local veterinary hospitals. You will assist with patient intake, examinations, treatments, laboratory testing, radiography, nursing care, and procedures as permitted by state practice acts. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring anesthesia/sedation recovery, performing dental prophylaxis, educating clients on medications and preventive care, maintaining accurate medical records, and contributing to a culture of collaboration and community. You will help manage appointments, triage emergencies, and support the veterinary team to improve hospital efficiency and patient care. This is a full- or part-time role based in Champlin, MN, with opportunities across locations, requiring a High School Diploma or equivalent and veterinary experience.
