Job Summary
Assist veterinarians and technicians during routine exams, surgical procedures, and radiographs while monitoring and caring for pets to ensure comfort and safety. Collect samples, administer medications and vaccines, and record patient medical history and inventory logs. Prepare rooms for appointments and surgeries, educate pet parents on preventive care and nutrition, and maintain a clean, disease-free environment. Support low-stress handling practices throughout all interactions and promote center services including grooming and boarding.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift 20+ lbs.
- Fear Free or HABRI certification
- Willingness to obtain Fear Free or HABRI certification
