Job Summary
Assist veterinarians and technicians with diagnostic procedures and treatments; maintain a safe, calm hospital environment; obtain patient histories from clients; handle animal patients safely during exams; collect diagnostic samples for in-house testing; maintain a clean, organized hospital, restock supplies, and follow sanitation and sterilization protocols. Demonstrates compassion and professionalism with clients, patients, and the team, supports workflow across shifts, and may work a 3-4 day schedule with day or overnight shifts available. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year veterinary hospital experience
- Love for animals and passion for the veterinary field
- Ability to manage time and priorities with minimal direct supervision
- Punctuality and exceptional attendance
- Willingness to work non-traditional hours such as weekends, evenings, and some holidays
- Strong clinical and communication skills
