Job Summary
Experienced Veterinary Assistant to support Licensed Veterinary Technicians and practitioners in diagnostic imaging suite (ultrasound, radiography, CT) in Spokane, WA. Responsibilities include patient restraint and safety, assisting in inpatient/outpatient care, anesthesia support, imaging assistance, lab sample preparation, invoicing, patient admissions/discharges, medical records documentation, PPE inspection, and maintaining radiology and CT suites. Secondary duties include performing lab tests, specimen handling, operating digital radiography units and anesthesia equipment, and professional communication with doctors, technicians, and clients. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience in an Emergency or Specialty animal hospital; strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures; excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills; proficiency with computer applications and office equipment; compassionate, patient-focused attitude.
