Job Summary
Provide comfort, nursing support, and daily care for hospitalized patients while assisting with restraint, feeding, and general husbandry. Support veterinarians and technicians during examinations, treatments, and procedures, and maintain a clean, organized, safe hospital environment. Assist with accurate medical record documentation, follow infection control protocols, and deliver compassionate service to clients during emergency situations. Adapt to various departments as needed to support patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
- Ability to lift 40+ pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Willingness to learn and participate in hands-on training opportunities
Desired Qualifications
- Previous veterinary, animal care, kennel, or healthcare experience preferred, but not required
- Genuine passion for working with animals and supporting their care
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
