Job Summary
As an experienced Veterinary Assistant, contribute to our 24-hour Emergency & Critical Care service by performing compassionate patient care, patient assessment and triage, client education, and ICU/hospitalization duties. Responsibilities include anesthesia induction and monitoring, surgical preparation and assisting, radiology, laboratory sample collection and diagnostic testing, venipuncture and catheterization, pharmacy support, and meticulous medical record keeping. Flexible scheduling with some weekends/holidays; compensation based on skill and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in emergency or specialty veterinary medicine
- Several years of experience in general practice
- Qualified veterinary technicians eligible for license reimbursement (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT)
