Job Summary
Assist veterinarians and vet techs during examinations, treatments, and surgeries while handling and restraining animals safely. Prepare examination rooms by cleaning and sterilizing equipment, perform basic laboratory tests like collecting samples, and administer medications under supervision. Feed, bathe, and exercise animals as needed while maintaining accurate medical records and communicating with pet owners about care plans. Clean and maintain the clinic, including stocking supplies and ensuring a safe environment. Work full-time hours Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-8PM with rotating Saturdays, earning $20-$25/hr. Join our AAHA-accredited facility offering state-of-the-art care including digital radiography and in-house laboratory services.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working with animals in a veterinary setting.
- Technical know-how in areas such as disinfection, administering medication, and using diagnostic equipment.
- Physical ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
