Veterinary Assistant Business Manager

Job Summary
Deliver high-quality patient care including diagnostics, treatment support, surgical preparation, and anesthesia monitoring while assisting with radiology, dentistry, and medical documentation. Serve as the acting clinic leader when the Business Manager is unavailable, facilitating team huddles, managing daily appointment flow, and supporting staffing coordination. Coach and mentor Veterinary Assistants and Technicians, reinforce standards and SOPs, and address client concerns with empathy. Champion clinic performance metrics and maintain regulatory compliance and facility readiness. Balance clinical responsibilities with operational leadership in a modern veterinary setting.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Previous clinical leadership experience
- Strong technical skills and confidence in patient care, diagnostics, and anesthesia support
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate teammates
- Comfortable balancing clinical responsibilities with operational leadership
- Adaptable, proactive, and solutions-oriented
