Job Summary
Deliver high-quality patient care including diagnostics, treatment support, surgical preparation, and anesthesia monitoring while assisting with radiology, dentistry, and medical documentation. Serve as the on-site clinic leader when the Business Manager is unavailable, managing daily appointment flow, staffing coordination, and workflow adjustments. Coach and mentor Veterinary Assistants and Technicians, reinforce standards, and support team training to drive clinic performance and operational improvements. Address client concerns with empathy and maintain a clean, organized environment. This development role combines hands-on clinical leadership with business management for experienced veterinary professionals at Petfolk's Missouri City Pet Care Center.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Previous clinical leadership experience
- Strong technical skills and confidence in patient care, diagnostics, and anesthesia support
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate teammates
- Comfortable balancing clinical responsibilities with operational leadership
- Adaptable, proactive, and solutions-oriented
