Job Summary
Veterinary Assistant provides supportive services under the direction of a licensed veterinary technician or senior veterinarian. responsibilities include restraining animals, drawing up vaccines, escorting clients and pets to exam rooms, recording vaccination histories, performing lab work, setting up equipment for treatment and surgery, cleaning and odor control, handling medications, client education, and assisting with scheduling and payments. Prior experience with animals is preferred; must be able to lift 25-40 lbs and handle physically demanding tasks in a veterinary hospital environment. This is a full-time role with comprehensive benefits.
