Job Summary
As a Veterinary Assistant at VCA Lovers Lane Animal Hospital, you will support the Technician and Doctor teams by restraining and assisting in patient exams and routine procedures, taking detailed medical histories and patient vitals, filling prescriptions, performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging, and maintaining medical records. Responsibilities also include providing compassionate care for hospitalized animals, assisting the Doctor and Technician staff, and maintaining a clean, safe hospital environment. Candidates should have strong communication skills and a commitment to creating a positive experience for clients and patients. Experience in a veterinary setting is preferred.
