Job Summary
As a Veterinary Assistant at VCA Advanced Animal Hospital, you will support doctors and technicians in exams, treatments, and procedures while delivering compassionate care to pets and their families. You’ll prepare exam rooms, assist with appointments, collect patient histories, monitor hospitalized pets, maintain medical records, sterilize instruments, and help with laboratory work and diagnostics. The role requires strong teamwork, effective communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; prior Veterinary Assistant experience and a passion for patient care are valued.
