Job Summary
Veterinary Assistant needed at VCA Yucca Valley Animal Hospital. Responsibilities include physical examinations and patient assessment, anesthesia monitoring, surgical preparation and assisting, dentistry, radiology, laboratory work, venipuncture, catheter placement, pharmacy tasks, and patient recovery. Must be friendly, people-oriented with excellent communication and computer skills; able to lift up to 40 pounds and perform in a team environment with flexibility for a 4-day, 10-hour shift including alternating Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience or training/education working in a veterinary facility preferred.
