Job Summary
Guide clients through their pet's visit from start to finish by taking complete medical histories, safely restraining patients for examination, and providing high-level client communication. Accurately enter medical history, fill prescriptions, enter charges for invoicing, create estimates and discharge paperwork, and record client correspondence. Share ideas with management on how to continue to improve client and pet experiences. Communicate positively with clients via phone, text, email, and in-person interactions while working seamlessly with team members to ensure a professional experience. Join a biblically-based, family-owned practice serving dogs, cats, rabbits, pocket pets, and exotic patients in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- A positive attitude and desire to help other people
- Ability to multitask and manage details with accuracy in a fast paced environment
- Experience working in a team environment and customer service
- Ability to navigate Microsoft Office, multi-line phone system, and learn our medical software program (ezyVet)
- 4 x10 hour shifts (8:00am to 6:00pm)
- Monday to Friday
- Consistent schedule
- Same day off each week
- No nights
- Very limited weekends
- In person
Desired Qualifications
- One or more years of veterinary related experience
