Job Summary
Assist veterinarians and vet techs during examinations, treatments, and surgeries while handling and restraining animals safely. Prepare examination rooms by cleaning and sterilizing equipment, perform basic laboratory tests including collecting blood and urine samples, and administer medications and vaccinations under supervision. Feed, bathe, and exercise animals as needed while maintaining accurate medical records and communicating with pet owners regarding care plans. Clean and maintain the clinic, stocking supplies and ensuring a safe, sanitary environment. Requires at least one year of veterinary experience and technical know-how in disinfection and diagnostic equipment. Open 7 days a week, year-round, with flexible weekend schedules and holiday coverage.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of veterinary experience
- Technical know-how in areas such as disinfection, administering medication, and using diagnostic equipment
- Physical ability to handle animals safely and compassionately
- Schedule: Open 7 days a week, year-round (Monday–Sunday, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM)
- Weekend schedules are flexible and may include rotating weekends, all Sundays off with Saturdays worked, or all Saturdays off with Sundays worked
- Some holiday coverage required
