Veterinary Assistant

Provide client service and administer care to hospitalized pets, admitting surgical and dental patients while generating treatment plans and collecting samples. Coordinate care with veterinarians, assist with exams, and ensure admitted patients are fed, medicated, and walked in clean environments. Complete medical records, bills, and discharge instructions, file charts, and package items for client release. Answer phone calls, set appointments, and prepare hospital release instructions. Adhere to all hospital policies, display professional courtesy, and prioritize tasks to maximize efficiency. Attend staff meetings and process pharmacy requests.
