Job Summary
Assist veterinarians during exams and outpatient care by restraining patients, triaging, and collecting/analyzing laboratory samples. Support treatments and diagnostics including radiographs, administering medications, and anesthesia monitoring. Provide nursing care for medical and hospitalized patients with varying stability. Maintain orderly appointments, interact with clients, assist with scheduling and payments, and contribute to a welcoming, professional client experience. Must be able to restrain pets and lift up to 40 lbs. Proficiency in sample collection and radiographs is a bonus. Development opportunities through virtual learning and hands-on training. Compensation: $13-$15/hour; benefits including health/dental/vision, life, 401k, HSA/FSA, paid vacation/sick time, parental leave, CE allowance, and tuition reimbursement for AVMA-accredited programs. Remote options: in-person; Location: Fort Smith, AR; Hiring eligibility may require background check.
Required Qualifications
