Veterinary Assistant

Restrain pets, triage incoming patients, collect and analyze lab samples, and manage nursing care for medical and hospitalized cases with varying stability. Administer medications, assist with surgical preparation, and monitor anesthesia while performing diagnostic imaging and communicating treatment plans with clients. Work in a multi-doctor general small animal practice offering services from preventative care to high-speed dentistry and in-house diagnostics. The role requires the ability to withstand unpleasant odors, noises, and exposure to animal waste or contagious diseases. Minimum one year of experience is preferred, with proficiency in sample collection and radiograph processing as a bonus.
