Job Summary
Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations for companion animals, diagnosing and treating medical conditions with individualized treatment plans. Provide preventive, medical, surgical, and dental care while educating clients on wellness recommendations and treatment options. Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure exceptional patient care and maintain accurate medical records. Participate in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives to uphold high standards of medical care and patient safety.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
- Active or eligible veterinary license in the state of practice
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
