Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive general medicine and perform routine soft-tissue surgery independently within an established small animal practice. Manage a diverse caseload spanning wellness care, internal medicine, dentistry, and surgery while building lasting client relationships. Utilize in-house laboratory capabilities, digital radiography, and ultrasound access to support patient care. Work alongside a collaborative team of experienced veterinarians and a licensed veterinary technician in a supportive environment. This role offers a flexible four-day work week option for an experienced DVM eligible for Alabama licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited program
- Eligible for veterinary licensure in Alabama
- Experience in companion animal general practice
- Comfortable performing routine surgical procedures independently
- Strong communication and client relationship building skills
- Commitment to high quality, patient centered medicine
