Job Summary
Veterinarian Medical Director sought to lead Malaherd Veterinary Hospital in Albuquerque, NM. The role emphasizes medical leadership, directing veterinary services across medical, surgical, and dental domains; requires licensing in New Mexico (or eligibility) and prior Medical Director experience is a plus. The position offers a flexible, full-time schedule with no on-call requirements, a generous bonus/relocation package of $100,000, a competitive base salary DOE plus production, stipends, comprehensive benefits (health plans with HSA option, PTO with rollover, parental leave, CE allowance, licensing dues, marketing and operational support, 401(k), AVMA PLIT, and more), and opportunities to partner with a Medical Advisory Board. The hospital operates four days a week (Mon/Tue/Wed/Fri) with weekend closures and is located at 5600 Coors Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120. The candidate will oversee a well-established practice, elevate hospital services, and collaborate with a dedicated team in a Fear Free environment, serving Albuquerque and surrounding areas.
Required Qualifications
