Job Summary
Provide in-home euthanasia and hospice care for geriatric and terminally ill pets, guiding families through end-of-life decisions while serving as an extension of local veterinary clinics. Deliver compassionate, mobile practice services with an average of 3-4 appointments daily, focusing on building deep connections with pet families during their most challenging moments. Maintain steady hands for medical tools and possess the physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs while driving or performing patient care tasks. Work 2-5 days per week between 9 am and 5 pm, supported by comprehensive training, mentorship, and ongoing product development.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
- 1+ year(s) experience as a practicing veterinarian
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 100 lbs. assisted
- Capable of walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, crawling, stooping, standing, and reaching consistently during the workday
- Comfortable with prolonged periods of driving
- Demonstrated manual dexterity, fine motor skills, and the ability to maintain steady hands while using medical tools
