Job Summary
Provide in-home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care for geriatric and terminally ill pets in a compassionate, Fear Free–aligned manner. Guide families through end-of-life decisions and maintain accurate medical documentation while collaborating with medical leadership and support teams. Work independently in the field with autonomy over scheduling, requiring a valid U.S. driver's license and availability for rotating weekend shifts. Lift up to 100 lbs with assistance and pass background and motor vehicle record checks. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS) from an accredited veterinary school
- Active (or ability to obtain) veterinary license in the state of practice
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
- Availability to work some weekends as part of a rotating schedule
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in hospice, palliative care, or Fear Free certification is a plus—but not required
