Job Summary
Veterinary Technician Program Director leading the Veterinary Nursing Program at Pima Medical Institute's San Antonio campus. Direct and maintain AVMA-aligned curriculum, oversee accreditation activities, supervise faculty and staff, manage budgets, monitor student success, and coordinate teaching and clinical-site activities. Requires Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) with a current Texas license, 3+ years in veterinary practice or teaching, and leadership experience. On-site position in San Antonio, TX with a $110k–$135k salary, $5k sign-on, relocation assistance, and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited College of Veterinary Medicine
- Current DVM license in good standing for Texas
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience in the veterinary field and/or 3 years of teaching experience in veterinary field
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other computer applications
