Job Summary
Examine, diagnose, and create treatment plans for patients using best medicine practices. Perform soft tissue and dental surgeries within a highly equipped surgical suite featuring state-of-the-art diagnostics including Idexx labs, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and a Class 4 Cold Laser Unit. Work 10-hour day shifts, four days a week, in a family-owned hospital in San Pedro, California, known for a small-town feel and a clientele that prioritizes diagnostics over quick fixes. The role supports a culture of continuous learning among experienced doctors and offers medical coverage, a $1000 CE allowance, and commission pay.
Required Qualifications
- DVM that is currently licensed to practice in CA
- Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and the veterinary code of ethics
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Manages time and tasks appropriately
- Is kind and works well with others
- Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
