Job Summary
Veterans Case Manager, MU (Hybrid) duties include comprehensive, client-centered case management and service coordination to help veterans, transitioning service members, and military families reach economic mobility and stability. Responsibilities span needs assessments, care/service plan development, counseling to maximize client well-being, advocating for services, documenting case notes and reports, conducting home/community visits as needed, staying updated on community resources, facilitating case consultations, providing crisis prevention/intervention, and performing additional duties as assigned. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience) and at least 2 years of relevant social work/case management experience; military/veteran experience is highly preferred; strong Microsoft Office skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Hybrid work schedule: 2 days from home and 3 days on-site in Miami, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with major course work in social work, psychology or other field closely related or equivalent experience
- Military experience/Veteran highly preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in social case work, counseling, eligibility determination, social service or community resource referral
