Job Summary
As a Veteran Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating daily operations of a residential housing program for veterans, providing direct client support, and promoting a structured therapeutic community. Key responsibilities include facilitating support groups, conducting intakes, monitoring behavioral issues, and collaborating with case managers and clinical teams. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong crisis intervention skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or related field
- 4+ years of relevant experience in homeless services, residential programs, or case management
- Strong skills in crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and client engagement
- Knowledge of residential services, supportive housing, and life skills programming
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to transport clients as needed
