Veteran Service Assistant

Deliver daily essential services including meals, hygiene supplies, and shelter with dignity while supporting veterans through move-ins and move-outs. Respond to and de-escalate verbal or physical altercations, documenting incidents for site leadership. Implement safety protocols such as bed checks, emergency responses, and room inspections to maintain a hazard-free facility. Assist with facility cleanliness, inventory, and inspection preparation while maintaining logs of services and client interactions. Collaborate with clinical and residential staff to ensure a therapeutic environment. Requires a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
